Eight members of EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes of Culture) are presenting a selection of European short films from their home countries at the Irish Film Institute and the Cork Film Festival. The audience will be asked to vote for their favourite film after the screening.
The Cork Film Festival and the IFI will present Irish short films out of competition.
The EUNIC Ireland cluster is composed of the Alliance Française, the Austrian Embassy, the British Council, Culture Ireland, the Goethe-Institut, the Instituto Cervantes / AECID, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, the Embassy of Bulgaria, the Embassy of Greece and the Embassy of Romania / Romanian Cultural Institute.
The Italian Institute of Culture is pleased to present “Fare thee Well” by Mattia Venturi.
Filippo is a spoiled boy scout. His scoutmaster entrusts him the mission of flling all the fasks at the fountain deep in the woods. There, he will encounter Rodolfo, a desperate fisherman in need of water for his car. The two will start a quarrel over the fountain, with an explosive ending.
