We welcome the arrival of spring with the classic “Divorzio all’italiana” by Pietro Germi (1961), starring the acclaimed actors Marcello Mastroianni and Stefania Sandrelli.
A married Sicilian baron falls in love with his cousin and promises to marry her, but divorce is not legal and he must therefore devise a crime of passion to eliminate his wife.
The screening will take place on Monday, April 13 at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura at 6:00 pm in Italian with English subtitles.
