Marta Marinelli studied harp with Patrizia Tassini at the Jacopo Tomadini Academy of Music in Udine. In 2015 she has completed a Master with Fabrice Pierre at the Conservatoire National Superior de Musique et Danse in Lyon. She has attended master classes with numerous preeminent harpists, among them Judith Liber, Park Stickney, Sylvain Blassel, and Isabelle Moretti. She has performed at several international festivals—including Festival Valentiniano in Orvieto, Festival of the Camerata Musicale Sulmonese, and Festival of Trasimeno Lake—and throughout Europe. She joined the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2012 and 2013. Her successes and prizes in national and international competitions and festivals are numerous. A career of prizewinning performances spans a decade. In 2010, Marinelli captured eighth prize in the USA International Harp Competition. First-prize accolades in her division include the Gioventu Musicale Italian Foundation (2011), the Second International Harp Competition in Slovenia (2010), the International Competition in Povoletto (2009), the International Competition in Beograd (Serbia, 2006), the Albisetti Competition in Milan (2006), the Felix Godefroide Competition of Belgium (2006), Citta di Ravenna National Festival (2005), and the Fusignano International Competition (2004). In 2011, she was awarded second prize at the Lily Laskine Festival International Harp Competition in Paris. Marinelli was among the 34 young international harpists chosen to take part in the 2008 World Harp Congress in Amsterdam. She continues to work with Festival Valentiniano, Festival of the Camerata Musicale Sulmonese, Trasimeno Lake, and the International Festival of Assisi.Programme:Louis Spohr : Fantasie C moll op. 35 J.S.
