On the occasion of the Renaissance NOW! exhibition, GalleryX will host the Italian artist and tattooist Morg Armeni, with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture.
Morg Amreni is a fine artist and tattooist with a stellar career. Her visionary paintings reference the traditions of European art, from the Gothic to the Baroque. Executed with breath-taking skill, they evoke a mythology of womanhood with long and mysterious roots.
Renaissance NOW! is the first exhibition by Morg Armeni in Ireland, encompassing the past 15 years of her career and including works in oil on board (her favourite medium), as well as pencil drawings.
