She has translated works by, among others, Elena Ferrante, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Giacomo Leopardi, and Alessandro Baricco, and is the editor of the Complete Works of Primo Levi in English. She has been the recipient of the PEN Renato Poggioli prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Rockefeller Foundation residency, and an award from the Italian Foreign Ministry.Enrica Maria Ferrara lectures in Italian Literature and Culture at Trinity College Dublin. She has published on various topics of Italian and Comparative Literature in academic books and journals. Her latest volumes include: Calvino e il teatro, Oxford-Bern, Peter Lang, 2011; Il realismo teatrale nella narrativa del Novecento: Vittorini, Pasolini, Calvino (FUP, 2014).
