brings heartfelt passion and emotion from some of Puccini’s best loved
operas.  Puccini travels the globe with his settings for many of his
operas, from Paris to the Wild West and across to China and Japan, He
captured the exotic, bringing East and West  in a Kaleidoscopic fusion
of passion which has enthralled the world for the last hundred years.
Each of Puccini’s operas is exquisitely created delving into the fragile
emotions which  he spent so long in developing for each of his
character.Starring in this extraordinary concert is rising
Australian star, Helena Dix, the sensation at Wexford Festival Opera in
2013 and direct from Covent Garden, principal tenor, Neal Cooper.Full ProgrammeLa Fanciulla del West Prelude        Edgar Addio mio dolce amor     Manon Lescaut Donna non vidi mai        Suor Angelica Senza mamma, o bimbo     Manon Lescaut IntermezzoLa Fanciulla del Wes t Ch’ella mi credaLa Bohème Quando m’en vo        La Bohème Si, Mi chiamano Mimi                   O Soave FanciullaMadama Butterfly Intermezzo & Humming Chorus                             Un bel di vedremoIl Tabarro “O Luigi, Luigi”                 Crisantemi             Turandot Nessun DormaTosca Visi d’arteGianni Schicchi O mio babbino caroLa Fanciulla del West IntroPre-Concert Introduction by George Fleeton in the Carolan Room at 7pm Presented by Lyric Opera Productions
