On the occasion of Made in Italy Day 2026, the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin, in collaboration with other components of the “Sistema Italia” in Ireland, organized this week a promotional event co-produced with Bulgari Ireland Ltd, featuring the screening of the docu-film “An Emperor’s Jewel, the Making of the Bulgari Hotel Roma.”
The event—hosted at the Italian Institute of Culture, with opening remarks by Director Michela Linda Magrì and attended by various representatives of the Italian-Irish business community, as well as a large delegation of Bulgari employees in Ireland, including many Italians—offered a unique opportunity to highlight the excellence of the prestigious jewellery and accessories brand, largely produced in Italy.
As highlighted by the Ambassador of Italy to Dublin, Nicola Faganello, in his welcome address, Made in Italy Day represents an important moment for promoting Italy and celebrating Italian creativity: “a unique and precious heritage, synonymous with quality, style, design, innovation, and tradition.”
The General Manager of Bulgari Ireland, Sébastien Roche, in turn emphasized the company’s strong sense of belonging and deep synergy with Italy and its artisanal and manufacturing excellence, as well as the historic and profound Italian, particularly Roman, identity of the renowned brand.
