The film “Dante” by Pupi Avati returns to Irish screens, after being screened last April in Cork as part of the N.I.C.E. Italian Film Festival Ireland.
During a special evening hosted by Trinity College Dublin in the Robert Emmet Theatre (Arts Building, access from Nassau St.), we will discover the events of Dante’s life told by another great author of his time, Giovanni Boccaccio.
The screening will be preceded by an introduction of the context and the author by Igor Candido, Head, Italian Department, Trinity College.
The film will be screened in Italian with English subtitles.
