The second appointment with Italian cinema within EUNIC Ireland’s European Film Club 2023 will be on Monday 3 April at 6.15 pm at the Walkinstown Library where the film “A casa tutti bene” (2018) directed by Gabriele Muccino will be screened.
Alba and Pietro are a retired couple who own a villa on an island. On the occasion of the golden wedding anniversary, they organize a lunch attended by children, grandchildren and other family members. Due to bad weather, however, no one can leave the island and they’re forced coexistence inevitably leads to confrontation between the various members of the family, sometimes cheerful, sometimes dramatic, rekindling envy and jealousy, resurfacing fears and issues which were never resolved.
The screenings will be non-ticketed events – simply arrive at the participating library on the date and time of your chosen screening(s). Please note that admission to the screening will be on a first come first seated basis.
