From the images of real life – his latest interviews, conversations with his friends, from Davoli to Laura Betti – to the dream sequences – which narrate passages from his unfinished novel “Petrolio” and the subject of an allegorical fantasty film which to be played by Eduardo De Filippo – a character emerges at the center of controversy and scandals due to his radical ideas. The tragic epilogue at the Idroscalo di Ostia remains a mystery even today.
