Short film festival “Visioni Sarde 2022” Review of 7 short films in original language with English subtitles

Do you know the Sardinian language (Lingua Sarda)? No? Here’s a great chance to hear it!

The traveling film festival “Visioni Sarde” was born in 2014 as part of the historic Festival “Visioni Italiane” of the Cineteca di Bologna with the aim of telling Sardinia through cinema and enhancing the work of young Sardinian film talents.

The 7 short films that reached the final of the ninth edition were selected by critics and experts of the Cineteca Nazionale di Bologna.

Monday, March 13 at 18.15 will be visible free of charge at the UCD Cinema cinema, inside the UCD university campus.

These are the titles chosen:

  • “April 12th” by Antonello Deidda,
  • “Fradi miu” by Simone Contu,
  • “Venus of Milis” by Giorgia Puliga,
  • “Mammarranca” by Francesco Piras,
  • “Santamaria” by Andrea Deidda,
  • “Without you” by Sergio Falchi,
  • “A splendid happiness” by Simeone Latini.

Total duration 105′. Free admission by reservation.
