The Italian Institute of Culture is delighted of the ongoing collaboration with Irish National Opera to spread knowledge and precious insights about Italian operas.
The production of “Bajazet” by Antonio Vivaldi, dated 1735, will open the season this year.
On Thursday 13th January at 7 pm, Eric Haywood, Professor Emeritus of Italian at University College Dublin and renowned scholar of Italian Renaissance, will delve deeper into the background and the context of the opera, offering a fascinating journey into Italian musical culture of international stature.
