Screening of the movie “Volevo nascondermi” (2020) in Italian language with English subtitles.
“Volevo nascondermi” is a 2020 movie directed by Giorgio Diritti. It tells the story of the painter Antonio Ligabue, with flashbacks showing glimpses of his childhood and his Swiss-Italian origins. Little Antonio is entrusted to adoptive parents, he immediately begins to have psychophysical disorders, ill with rickets, and after being expelled from school and attacking his mother, he is hospitalized several times in an asylum. For his role as Ligabue, the actor Elio German won the Golden Bear award as best actor at the 2020 Berlin International Festival Festival and the 2021 David di Donatello award as best leading actor.
HOW TO BOOK:

2. Log in to the account previously created on the “MyMovies for IIC” website and book your seat in the “virtual room” for the chosen film (only those of the IIC Dublin are visible from Ireland).
3. On the day of the screening, starting from the indicated start time (usually 2 pm in Dublin) the film will be available for viewing and the user will have 24 hours to access the “MyMovies for IIC” site and independently complete the vision of the film.
