In a brand new online edition, we are ready to resume ‘Lunedì al cinema’ with a fabulous selection of pluri-awarded movies from 2020. We are kick-starting with ‘Hammamet’, directed by Gianni Amelio.
The movie tells the story of the infamous Italian politician Bettino Craxi, interpreted by Pierfrancesco Favino, in the last six months of his life. The actor won in this role the award Nastro d’Argento in 2020. The movie is a review of recent Italian history and gives insights on the political legacy left by socialism with the ‘First Republic’.
The film will be in Italian with English subtitles, the duration is 126 minutes, and the year of production is 2020.
