Donatella Di Pietrantonio in Dublin – Meeting with the Premio Strega-winning author

On Tuesday, May 12, we will host Donatella Di Pietrantonio, winner of the prestigious Premio Strega, for a special conversation with readers. During the event, she will present her acclaimed novel L’età fragile, published by Einaudi (The Brittle AgeEuropa Editions UK Ltd), recently longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award 2026. The meeting will be moderated by professor Enrica Ferrara.

Donatella Di Pietrantonio lives and works in Penne, in the Abruzzo region. With L’Arminuta (Einaudi 2017, translated into more than 30 countries), she won numerous awards, including the Premio Campiello, Premio Napoli, and Premio Alassio. For Einaudi, she has also published Mia madre è un fiume (first edition Elliot 2011), which won the Premio Tropea; Bella mia (first edition Elliot 2014), which was a participant in the 2014 Premio Strega and won the Premio Brancati; Borgo Sud (2020), finalist for the Premio Strega 2021; and L’età fragile (2023 and 2026), winner of the Premio Strega Giovani 2024 and the Premio Strega 2024. For the screenplay of Giuseppe Bonito’s film L’Arminuta, she won the David di Donatello award together with Monica Zapelli.
