The concert season organised by our Institute continues with the performance, on 12 November at 6.30 p.m., of the ‘Duo Confluence’ composed of Teresa Gasparini (guitar) and Michelangelo Ghedin (saxophone). Together they will offer a programme full of influences and new sounds ranging from Baroque music (Monteverdi) to modern (Tchaikovsky, Bartók) and contemporary (Alexander E. Miller, Ciáran Farrell, Michele Deiana, Ramon Humet).
‘Duo Confluence’ was born in 2019 in the context of the chamber music course at the Conservatorio B. Marcello di Venezia to experiment more with the timbral possibilities of the two instruments combined. They are winners of various Chamber Music prizes such as: IV Concorso Città di Belluno, XV Concorso Città di Treviso and XX Concurso Internacional de Mùsica de Càmara CIMCA in Arnuero.
Event in collaboration with the TU Dublin Conservatory.
Free participation with compulsory booking on Eventbrite.
