EUNIC Ireland’s European Film Club 2023 – Free screening of the film “Perfetti sconosciuti” in Italian with English subtitles

From 2 March to 12 June, 11 Cultural Institutes and Embassies of the EUNIC Ireland network, in collaboration with Culture Ireland, bring international cinema to the halls of the Dublin City Libraries. An event that will be showcasing films from 11 EU countries; Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal and Spain. Each screening will be aimed at an adult audience and will be in the original language with English subtitles.

The first appointment with Italian cinema will be on Wednesday 8 March at 11 at the Ballymun City Library where the award-winning film “Perfect Strangers” by Paolo Genovese (2016) will be screened in Italian with English subtitles.

The film is the original of a series of international “remakes” which has seen more than 20 remakes in as many countries around the world. Participation is free.

The screenings will be non-ticketed events – simply arrive at the participating library on the date and time of your chosen screening(s). Please note that admission to the screening will be on a first come first seated basis.
