Theme: “Italian and the book: the world between the lines”
An open day for the IIC students of Italian with free conversation classes, board game sessions, screening of documentary and films in the Pavilion room, coffee break, distribution of IIC gadgets, free books, and discovery of our library.

Throughout the day, from 10:30 to 17:00 (Library/Reception): Tea and coffee will be offered in the Library, and you will be able to participate in a short survey on reading books, take home some free books, browse the digital version of the book “L’italiano e il libro: il mondo fra le righe” created for the occasion by the Accademia della Crusca, and collect the brand new IIC gadgets (pen, notebook and bag)

11:00 – 11:45 (Aula Mews) Free conversation lesson in Italian (beginner level)
13:00 – 13:35 (Sala Pavilion) Documentary screening in Italian with English subtitles (30′)
14:00 – 14:45 (Aula 3) Board games session in Italian (levels A2-B1)
15:00 – 15:45 (Aula 3) Free conversation lesson in Italian (beginner level)
16:30 – 18:00 (Sala Pavilion) Screening of the film/documentary “L’Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio” by Agostino Ferrente in Italian with English subtitles (90′)
All events are free and no reservation is required.
The “Week of the Italian Language in the World” is an initiative to promote the Italian language carried out by the cultural and diplomatic network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation under the High Patronage of the Presidency of the Republic. Every year it celebrates the Italian language and creativity in the world.
