“Beyond Limits – not just Ultracycling” is a digital documentary series created by Andrea Pusateri, a Paracycling champion and élite athlete. In 2023, Andrea decided to go beyond, dedicating himself to Ultracycling challanges: extreme distance cyclistic competitions. Despite his disability, which doesn’t allow him to take part in the competitions of this discipline, he created a personalised series of cycling experiences that allow him to challenge himself and his abilities. On his social media, he documents and shares all his feats with the public.
Thursday 12 June, he will present at the Institute the project “Giro d’Irlanda” in 16 stages around the island for a total of 2600km, from 15th of June to 1st of July 2025. A discussion on sports and disability, including Pusateri himself along with some Irish authorities, will follow.
