Saturday 19 February we will host at the Italian Institute of Culture the first of 4 events for children aged 6 to 10 celebrating the Italian Carnival Masks and traditions.
In the context of a lively artistic and practical workshop the set designer and theatrical artist Claudia Lamantea will share with the kids all her knowledge about famous characters from the Commedia dell’Arte: Arlecchino, Pulcinella, Colombina e Balanzone.
The first workshop will concern the Arlecchino mask!
The events will last about 40’-1h. Limited availability!
WHO IS CLAUDIA LAMANTEA
Claudia Lamantea is a Roman-born artist living in Dublin for 10 years. Having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Stage Management and Theatrical Technique from Trinity College, Claudia has specialized in scenic painting and works primarily as a freelancer for Ireland’s major theaters and cultural centres.
In her personal artistic practice, she is constantly looking for new methods and collaborations to produce creative shows and experiences that can stimulate her own imagination and the imagination of the public by experimenting with different disciplines and techniques.
