It is often said that singer-songwriters are also poets, but few know that writers have played a key role in some of the most beautiful pages of Italian pop music.
Italianist Giulio Carlo Pantalei has always combined his research activities with those of a singer-songwriter and musician. In an English-language event, interspersed with live music performances, he will present his latest book “Una lingua per cantare. Gli scrittori italiani e la musica leggera” (2025), published by Einaudi, in conversation with Bianca Cataldi (University of Galway).
The event will be in English. In collaboration with University of Galway. Free admission. Limited seating available. A toast will be offered to participants.
