Antonia (Margherita Buy) and her husband Massimo are a socially successful couple in their forties who seem to live an intense and perfect bond, albeit quite routine, disturbed only by the difficult relationship that the woman has with her mother.
Antonia’s peaceful daily life is irreparably upset when Massimo dies suddenly, run over by a car. After her husband’s death, Antonia starts dating her friends and discovers the truth about her life.
