“There’s No Place Like Home” (Italian: “A casa tutti bene”), 105′, is a 2018 Italian comedy-drama film directed by Gabriele Muccino.
Alba and Pietro are a retired couple who own a villa on an island. On the occasion of the golden wedding, they organize a lunch attended by children, grandchildren and other family members. Due to bad weather, however, no one can leave the island and forced coexistence inevitably leads to confrontation between the various members of the family, sometimes cheerful, sometimes dramatic, rekindling envy and jealousy, resurfacing fears and issues never resolved.
Filming was done entirely on the island of Ischia.
