For the second appointment of Lunedì al Cinema, we present the Academy Award-winning masterpiece by Vittorio De Sica, “Bicycle Thieves” (1948). The film, set in postwar Italy, recounts the story of a man belonging to the working class who is robbed of his bicycle and sets himself the goal of finding it, accompanied by his son.
The screening will take place on Monday, March 9 at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura at 6:00 PM in Italian with English subtitles.
The “Lunedì al Cinema” screenings are reserved for an adult audience. Free admission, reservation on our website or on Eventbrite.
