This year, the N.I.C.E. Italian Film Festival celebrates its third edition in Ireland. Following the inaugural edition in 2022, which brought 8 film screenings to Cork and two free previews to Dublin, in 2023, the Festival expanded its range of activities with two full editions in Dublin (8 films) and Cork (8 films). Both editions saw great participation.
In 2024, thanks to the commitment of the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin, the Festival will reach three Irish cities: Dublin (7 films), Cork (6 films), and Galway (4 films), with the hope of reaching more cities next year.
This edition, like previous ones, presents itself as the annual gathering around the image of our country, on those themes that most stimulate its creativity and which we believe are worthy to be made available to those with a passion for Italian culture living abroad.
Our sincere gratitude goes to our partners who actively contributed to the success of the Festival all over Ireland, to the Italian-Irish Chamber of Commerce, to the University of Galway and UCC, to the cinemas Light House in Dublin, The Ark in Cork and Pálás in Galway, DIFF, CIFF, GALWAY FILM SOCIETY and to all partners in the cinema industry and cultural arena that supported our Festival.
