The Wonders of the Venetian Lagoon: Murano, Burano, Torcello and beyond – Virtual Guided Tour
Venice is indeed the pearl of the lagoon, but nonetheless, the other islands are fascinating and full of surprises. Starting from Murano and Burano, the first world-famous for its millennial glassblowing tradition, the latter well known for the lace-making nonnas and the bright colored homes, we will then go on to discover Torcello, San Francesco del Deserto, and many more lesser-known islands, with their stories of betrayal, exiles, monasteries, and ghosts.
