Pino Pascali had given great art to the world – and had much more to give – when he tragically died in a motorcycle accident in 1968. The beloved artist was just 32 years old. Walter Fasano’s charming documentary tells how, fifty years later, the charismatic artist’s work Cinque Bachi da Setola e un Bozzolo (Five Bristle Worms and a Cocoon) is returned to his homeland. The film features stunning photography from the artist himself.
The documentary Pino by the Italian film editor Walter Fasano will become available at Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival starting from March 10th at 5:00 pm CET and for the following 72 hours.
You can pre-book you ticket HERE.
Editor Walter Fasano, who has made a name for himself as a talented collaborator of Luca Guadagnino, will also join the festival for an in-depth discussion on film editing, hosted by fellow editor Eoin McDonagh. Livestream begins March 11th at 8:00 PM GMT. Tickets HERE.
