The documentary «Kordon» (65’ min.) narrates the story of 5 ordinary women doing some extraordinary things to help and give hope to Ukrainian refugees, united through a timeless train station at the Hungarian border with Ukraine.
«Kordon» is a thoughtful and blaring portrait of female resistance, courage and solidarity. It is an impact documentary appealing for an awareness about the importance of non-violent social help.
Alice Tomassini is an Italian independent documentary film director, mainly focused on social impact documentaries. She has been recently appointed to the Forbes 30under30 European Media list for her work on social storytelling. “Kordon” is her first feature film.
