Following the exciting virtual tours offered by our Institute during 2022 and 2023, we would like to revitalize the 2024 offer by proposing a new collaboration with the online platform “The Grand Tour”.
The first tour of the year will present the city of Rome and its underground wonders.
Buried beneath the surface of ancient Rome, where the Foro, Colosseum and the other innumerable well-known monuments stand, another fascinating Rome, but rarely seen, awaits to be discovered.
During this guided tour we will delve into the city’s hidden depths, where millennia of transformation have left behind forgotten catacombs, crypts, temples, outstanding Domus Romane, like Celio’s or Palazzo Valentini, and other amazing underworld places.
Not only burial sites, but places where Romans used to inhabit, showing signs of their daily life and entertainment.
