Once again this year, the Italian Institute of Culture reaffirms its long-standing collaboration with the Wexford Festival Opera for its 74th edition, which explores the theme of myths and legends through 16 days of amazing performances.
This year’s main theatrical works include: “Le Trouvère” (1857) by G. Verdi, “Deidamia” (1741) by G.F. Händel and “La fontana magica” (1895) by F. Delius, alongside the “Factory Opera” “Il Viaggio a Reims” (1825) by G. Rossini.
For years, Wexford Festival Opera and our Institute have collaborated to bring a series of Italian opera aria recitals to Dublin’s expert audience, featuring talented artists from the Wexford Factory Academy.
