Words on the Street – A European literature trail

Crossing political and literary boundaries – Words on the Street will take you on a journey across the cultural landscape in an evening of celebrity readings of translated works by contemporary European authors – in stunning and unusual locations around Dublin.

The event will include readings of Don’t Tell Me You’re Afraid by Giuseppe Catozzella, translated by Anne Milano Appel. The book has been longlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award 2018.

The first reading at each venue will start at 6:30pm and the last one at 9pm. Each reading takes approximately 15 minutes and is repeated on the hour and half hour. The reading of Don’t Tell Me You’re Afraid will take place at Literature Ireland, 36 Fenian St. The chapter will be read by Geraldine Plunkett and Giuseppe Catozzella will be present at the event.

This event is free and no booking is necessary.
