On the evening of the 12 November 2025, the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin had the great honour and pleasure of hosting professor, writer, and translator Enrico Terrinoni for the launch of his new book “Leggere libri non serve. Sette brevi lezioni di letteratura” (Bompiani).

The Ambassador of Italy Nicola Faganello and the Director of the Institute Michela Linda Magrì had the opportunity to meet the author to discuss the themes of the book and to celebrate his strong bond with the Emerald Isle and its writers, Joyce and Wilde among many others.

The writer, joined by Professor Enrica Ferrara as moderator, guided the audience on a journey through some of the most visionary and original voices in literature.

Thank you to the audience of Italian and Irish literature enthusiasts for the warm participation!
