Maestro Francesco Turrisi’s concert at the Institute

Francesco Turrisi, an internationally renowned pianist and musical alchemist, inaugurated the new year of the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin last night, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Ireland, the Director of the Italian Institute of Culture, and distinguished guests, with a musical evening exploring folk traditions, the artist’s jazz roots, and traditional Italian song.

Blending music, storytelling, and experimentation, the artist presented pieces from his repertoire alongside previously unreleased works inspired by Sicilian tradition, opening the new year in the best possible way with a programme that promises to be innovative and rich in events.
