Following the success of previous editions, the 5th edition of the Italian Film Festival Ireland will take place from April 23rd to May 1st, bringing the best of contemporary Italian cinema to Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Limerick. Organised by the Italian Institute of Culture, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Ireland and in collaboration with N.I.C.E., the Festival will showcase 12 films across 20 screenings, including selections from the Venice, Cannes, and Rome Film Festivals. Highlights include Chiara in Dublin, paying tribute to the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, La valle dei sorrisi in Cork and Galway, and special Q&As with directors and actors. All films will be screened in Italian with English subtitles. See you at the theatre!
