Enrico Terrinoni in ConversationIrish Writers’ Centre, 19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1Tuesday November 25th, 2014, 7.00 pmThe ITIA invite you to a public interview with Dr. Enrico Terrinoni, one of the leading translatorsof Irish literature into Italian.Enrico Terrinoni has translated James Joyce’s Ulysses into Italian (2012) and is currentlyworking on translating Finnegans Wake with Fabio Pedone (to be published in 2019). He hasalso translated such Irish authors as Brendan Behan, James Stephens, Francis Bacon, andMannix Flynn, as well as the contributors to the recent Dubliners 100 project. In addition he hastranslated works by Muriel Spark, Nathaniel Hawthorne, B.S. Johnson, John Burnside, MiguelSyjuco, and Simon Armitage. He lived in Dublin for several years, where he completed adoctorate on the occult in Ulysses and he now teaches English literature at the University forForeigners in Perugia. He has held a Mendel Fellowship at Indiana University and was aGovernment of Ireland Fellow at UCD and a Long Hub Room Fellow at TCD.
