The Italian Institute of Culture invites you to the encouter with contemporary Italian writer Andrea De Carlo, who will talk about his latest book L’imperfetta meraviglia and the art of novel writing.

Andrea De Carlo is an Italian writer, director and musician. After his journeys around the world, De Carlo wrote and published many bestselling novels, including Due di due (Two out of Two, 1989), Tecniche di seduzione (Techniques of Seduction, 1991) and Giro di vento (Windshift, 2004). As a director, De Carlo made a movie out of his novel Treno di panna (1981) and directed the documentary Le facce di Fellini (1983). During his career, he collaborated with great Italian artistic figures such as Italo Calvino and Federico Fellini.

Andrea De Carlo will also be in Cork on 13th June and Galway on 14th June.
