The film, based on Andrea Camilleri’s novel, is set in Vigata, the same city of Inspector Montalbano, during the Easter weekend of 1890. Two rival inspectors have to solve the mystery of the disappearance of Antonio Patò, a quiet accountant who vanishes after playing Judas in the town’s annual Easter play.
