This documentary tells the story of the diary that Vincezo Rabito (born in 1899), a semi-literate man from Sicily, wrote during his life. His memoir, written partly in the Sicilian dialect with semicolon instead of spacing, is an amazing and unique description of life in Italy and Sicily during the years of the two world wars and the economic growth. The documentary is a collection of historical footage of the Istituto Luce, original pages of the diary of Vincenzo Rabito and other private footage.
