Presentation of Caruso, Corelli, Di Stefano events in September 2021

At the end of September to mark the centenary of the death of Enrico Caruso and the birth of Giuseppe Di Stefano and Franco Corelli, the Institute will celebrate the work of these tenors re-nowned worldwide with three events.

We will open on September 28th with an online presentation of the virtual exhibition created by the ‘Teatro alla Scala’ in Milan for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Inter-national Cooperation which can be visited HERE.

On 29th September you are invited to join us for an unmissable concert of arias for tenor and traditional Neapolitan songs starring the tenor Patrick Hyland.

Here is the programme:

“Che gelida manina” (La Bohème)
“Una furtiva lagrima” (L’elisir d’amore)
“La Donna è mobile” (Rigoletto)
“E lucevan le stelle” (Tosca)
“Ch’ella mi creda” (La fanciulla del West)

‘O Sole Mio
Santa Lucia
Torna a Surriento

Finally, we will offer two guided tours (in Italian on September 30th and English on October 1st), to the few who are fast enough to book, at the Enrico Caruso Museum housed in the villa that was owned by the tenor in ‘Lastra a Signa’, in Tuscany. Limited availability!
