Exhibition by Daniele Trombetti within the series of exhibitions “The Art of Italian Illustrations 2022

On Thursday 22 September the exhibition of original illustrations by Daniele Trombetti entitled "I observe, I imagine from the tip of a pencil" was inaugurated. It is the fourth in a series of five belonging to the cycle "L'Illustrazione italiana 2022" which brings to Dublin a total of 5 exhibitions by 6 artists (5 Italians and one Irish) throughout 2022.

The exhibition collects 25 mixed media works describing a series of fantastic characters and landscapes drawn by Trombetti in recent decades. Don't miss the opportunity to visit it together with your children!

The exhibition can be visited at the IIC, Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30 to 4.30pm until the 18th October 2022.

Daniele Trombetti was born in Imola (Italy) in May 1963. He graduated from the Art Institute of Urbino in 1982.

He then attended the two-year course of the school of comics and illustration "Zio Feinger" in Bologna where he came into contact with masters such as Andrea Pazienza, Lorenzo Mattotti, Igort, Marcello Jori and Giorgio Carpinteri.

At the same time he begins to publish illustrated books for children and later collaborates with various publishers, Italian and foreign, for the Gakken of Tokyo (Japan) and Time Life in the USA he writes the texts and illustrations of his books.
