Giacomo Menegardi in concert Piano recital by young artist Menegardi, winner of several international contests. With the support of Allianz Global Life

Giacomo Menegardi, critically acclaimed as “A true talent, incredibly accurate and with a great personality”, has performed in various concerts and contests in Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, Scotland, Ireland and USA.

This October, thanks to the support of the Italian Institute of Culture and Allianz Global Life, he will be our guest for two unmissable concerts. The first one will be in the Sculpture Hall of the Hugh Lane Gallery, with pieces by R. Schumann, F. Chopin, F. Mendelssohn, F. Liszt.

Bio

Giacomo Menegardi has given recitals and concerts with the orchestra in prestigious Italian theaters and concert halls such as the Sale Apollinee of Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Auditorium “Largo Gustav Mahler” in Milan, Sala Maffeiana of Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Teatro Comunale di Belluno, Teatro Giovanni XXIII in Belluno, Teatro Greco in Taormina, Teatro Camploy in Verona, Teatro “Donna Fugata” in Ragusa-Ibla, Teatro di Castelfranco Veneto, Steinway Hall in Barcelona, Auditorium Viader in Girona.

From the age of eleven he began participating in numerous national and international competitions, winning more than thirty first prizes overall. Among the most important are first prizes at the “G. Pecar International Piano Competition,” the national “Marco Bramanti,” the “Spoleto International Piano Competition,” finalist and winner of second prize at the “Luciano Luciani” International Piano Competition in Cosenza, first prize at the “Alkan Prize for Piano Virtuosity,” first prize at the “W.A. Mozart International Piano Competition” in Lugano.
