the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin has become not only as a showcase of Italy and a source of up-to-date information on the "Country System", but also as a driving force for cultural cooperation initiatives and activities. It is an essential point of reference for the Italian community and for the growing demand for Italian culture that is recorded all over the world.
What we do
The IIC in Dublin promotes the image of Italy as a center of production, conservation and cultural diffusion from the classical era to the present day:
- it organizes cultural events in different sectors (art, music, cinema, theater, dance, fashion, design, photography, literature, publishing);
- it offers the opportunity, to those who wish, to know the Italian language and culture, through the organization of courses, the management of libraries and the offer of educational and editorial material;
- provides support and information for enrollment and academic courses in Italy and certifications of Italian as L2.
