Paolo Bartoloni is Established Professor of Italian Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Previously he taught Italian and Comparative Literature at the University of Sydney where he was Founding Director of the program in International and Comparative Literary Studies.
His books and articles investigate temporal and spatial thresholds, stressing the inherent potentiality and interstitiality of modern art. He is currently working on the practice and theory of objects and material culture.

Michael Cronin holds a Personal Chair in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Dublin City University, Ireland. He is an elected Member of the Royal Irish Academy and of the Academia Europaea, an Officier de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques and an Honorary Member of the Irish Translators’ and Interpreters’ Association. Professor Cronin has published on different topics, included Tourism, Culture and Identity, Languages and Translation.

Valentina Zucchi is Scientific Cultural Mediation Manager at the Associazione Mus.e – Firenze, an organization that supports and promotes the standing and appreciation of Florentine Civic Museums and in general of the city of Florence. MUS.e. organizes cultural projects, exhibitions, workshops and events in the fields of heritage and art.
