On July 1, the Italian Institute of Culture hosted the presentation of My Late Afternoon, the latest book by Concetto La Malfa.
Born in Sicily, Concetto La Malfa is an Italian-born writer and journalist who has lived in Ireland for more than sixty years. During this time, he has fully expressed his many talents as a teacher, writer, and painter. Deeply influenced by both his Mediterranean roots and his long life in Ireland, his work reflects a rich blend of cultures, experiences, and artistic sensibilities. Through teaching, writing, and painting, he has devoted his life to creativity, learning, and the sharing of ideas. My Late Afternoon, his latest self-published book, explores the thoughts, memories, and experiences that accompany reaching the age of eighty-five.
