Back in 1716, Cosimo III De Medici declared and branded four Tuscan areas (today known as Chianti Classico) for the production of wines. The Chianti classic region has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Paolo Nevini from Grevepesa, Chianti Classico wines and representative of the Consortium of Chianti Classico producers, will take you on a wine tasting journey through the Chianti territorio.
However, Tuscany is not only renowned worldwide for amazing wines, it also boasts a unique cuisine based on local seasonal produce. Along with the wine tasting, patrons will be sample Salcis Tuscan sheep cheese infused with truffle, black pepper or saffron.
