As part of a new cycle of meetings ‘‘Biografie, sulle tracce della storia’ (‘Biographies, in the footsteps of history’)’, lecturer and human rights activist Paolo Antonio Manetti will present the music tale ‘Famigerate Armonie. Storie e musiche dell’apostolo cospiratore’, a passioned research that was born with the intention of stimulating in young people, and not only, the knowledge of the Italian Risorgimento and one of its main protagonists, Giuseppe Mazzini.
Mazzini, a skilled guitarist, loved to play and sing, it is said with a beautiful voice, the motifs of the most famous works of his time as well as those of the popular tradition, often transcribed for his instrument.
