From 24 to 26 July 2026, County Wexford will host Rí Rá – Festival of Children’s Arts, one of Ireland’s leading festivals dedicated to children, young audiences, and families. The festival features a vibrant programme of performances, workshops, and participatory events, showcasing international artists and companies working in theatre, contemporary circus, music, and the performing arts.
The Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin proudly supports Cometa Circus, an Italian-Peruvian contemporary circus company, which will present performances at the Rí Rá Festival filled with energy, poetry, and extraordinary skills. Acrobatics, Cyr wheel, aerial rope, and unicycling come together in a captivating performance language that delights audiences of all ages.

Organised by Doulab for Circus and Dance, the Italian Cultural Institute supports these special performances alongside Creative Places Enniscorthy, The Arts Council of Ireland, Wexford County Council, and the festival partners, helping to promote the excellence of Italian contemporary circus to Irish audiences.
