“Extraordinary Women” is a powerful and inspiring event dedicated to the women who, through their work and commitment, have shaped and continue to shape society. From renowned figures in literature, journalism, science, art, and theatre to everyday women who confront inequality and prejudice, this event is a celebration of resilience, creativity, and change.
Organised by Com.It.Es. Ireland, under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy and our Institute, the event will unfold in four parts at The Sugar Club in Dublin.
At 4:00 PM, the evening will open with the monologue “Articoli per Signore”, written and performed by Elisa Pistis. This will be followed by an interactive discussion moderated by Enrica Ferrara and the President of Com.It.Es. Ireland, Emiliana Capurro, featuring “extraordinary women” from a variety of sectors and backgrounds. Throughout the evening, attendees will also be able to admire oil portraits and figurative paintings by Geraldine Carton, a contemporary artist based in Dublin. The event will conclude with a concert by singer Tiziana Rivale.
