FIILI – FESTIVAL OF ITALIAN AND IRISH LITERATURE IN IRELAND – 3rd EDITION

The Italian Institute of Culture organises, for the third consecutive year, the Festival of Italian and Irish Literature in Ireland – FIILI – in partnership with Irish PEN/PEN na hÉireann and Trinity College Dublin and with the support of Literature Ireland, Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation and The Society for Italian Studies.

The third edition will focus on the theme ‘IN OTHER WOR(L)DS’ and will include a rich series of conversations with Italian and Irish authors. Download here the full programme.

The first day, Friday 26 September, (at the Institute) will be dedicated to translation and the meeting with the author Joseph O’ Connor. The second day, Saturday 27 September (at Regent House – Trinity College Dublin) will host various thematic meetings with simultaneous Italian-English-Italian translation.
