Giuseppina Torre in concert: “A Hymn to Life”

The Italian Institute of Culture is delighted to support and present the participation of the renowned Italian pianist and composer Giuseppina Torre, who will be the protagonist of three special concerts in Ireland dedicated to her music and her latest artistic project.

Born in Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa, Giuseppina Torre is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer, appreciated for her ability to transform emotions and personal experiences into original piano compositions. Throughout her career, she has performed in important theatres and music festivals in Italy and abroad, receiving numerous awards and recognitions, including the honour of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, conferred on her in 2021 by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.

In Ireland, Giuseppina Torre will present a series of recitals connected to her new album “The Choice”, a project of original piano music exploring universal themes such as courage, change, hope, and the strength of personal choices.

The concert “A Hymn to Life – Un inno alla vita” offers an immersive experience through a selection of her compositions, in which the piano becomes the narrative voice of profound emotions and reflections on the human journey.
